AT OUR CONGREGATION...
We call ourselves Christians. We are, after all, trying to follow the example of Christ and obey His teachings. We understand the Bible to be from God, written so that we might have a well lit path to Heaven (1 John 1:7; Psalm 119:105). We take a Bible description for our congregation, the church of Christ (Romans 16:16). This is not the name of our group, but a description of who we are. We are the assembly that Christ purchased with His blood (Acts 20:28); we are owned by Him.We understand that the reason for God instituting the church and having preachers preach and teachers teach is to save the lost and to keep the saved saved.

With that in mind, we strive to preach sermons on peace, joy, grace, love… but also doctrinal sermons on the correct way to worship, how to be saved, the church and its Biblical description, etc. We strive to preach the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27). If you are visiting, we want you to take notes and follow along in your Bible. You may even ask for a audio CD of particular lesson or sermon!
We do not claim to be perfect, we have many shortcomings. But, we have joined hearts and hands in a mutual work of service to be pleasing to God. We are here to help each other make it to Heaven. Do you need help? Come join us at our weekly worship services and Bible studies. Here you will always hear scripture being preached. No opinions or creeds, just the Bible.
